WEBINAR: UK food producer, grower and farmers audience: Managing labour responsibly

During these globally challenging times, it’s more important than ever to protect the health safety and livelihoods of workers in our global supply chain. That’s why UK supermarket sponsors (Aldi, Asda, Co-op, Lidl, M&S, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose & Partners) are collaborating to provide a series of supplier-facing COVID-19-management webinars to provide guidance and support to protect workers during this period of unprecedented change.

The webinars will be project managed by allianceHR (David Camp), Herring Consultancy (Louise Herring) and Gaje (Gillian Haythornthwaite) in collaboration with key partners. They will include expert guidance and experience from suppliers globally who are managing the impact of the pandemic.

• Audience: business leaders, human resources, operational and technical teams and labour providers
• Purpose: This session will provide guidance for suppliers on practical and procedural steps to take to effectively manage labour shortages or a surplus of labour and on supporting workers through any changes with supplier case studies detailing actions taken in recent weeks. Webinars will be free of charge and a recorded link will be provided at a later date for those who are not able to make a session/ those would like to share a session with colleagues. After each webinar a one-page summary of the content will be provided to all participants.

Webinars will be conducted in English. The content of each webinar will be open source and made available for use by other partner organisations globally.
