Global and UK food producer, grower and farmer audience: On-site health and safety management, accommodation and transport

During these globally challenging times, it’s more important than ever to protect the health safety and livelihoods of workers in our global supply chain. That’s why UK supermarket sponsors (Aldi, Asda, Co-op, Lidl, M&S, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose & Partners) are collaborating to provide a series of supplier-facing COVID-19-management webinars to provide guidance and support to protect workers during this period of unprecedented change.

The webinars will be project managed by allianceHR (David Camp), Herring Consultancy (Louise Herring) and Gaje (Gillian Haythornthwaite) in collaboration with key partners. They will include expert guidance and experience from suppliers globally who are managing the impact of the pandemic.

• Audience: business leaders, operational and technical teams and labour providers
• Purpose: The session will provide case studies from global suppliers on the practical and procedural steps that can be taken on site, in worker accommodation and in worker transport to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to manage workers who are taken sick. Webinars will be free of charge and a recorded link will be provided at a later date for those who are not able to make a session/ those would like to share a session with colleagues. After each webinar a one-page summary of the content will be provided to all participants.

Webinars will be conducted in English. The content of each webinar will be open source and made available for use by other partner organisations globally.
