We’re delighted to announce that ETI is hosting a side event at the 3rd Annual UN Forum on Business and Human Rights in Geneva. Our panel discussion explores how companies, trade unions and NGOs can work together to support the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), drawing on practical examples in order to better understand the challenges and opportunities. We take a look at the three pillars of the UNGPs (Protect, Respect, Remedy), with three ETI members presenting a case study relating to each of the pillars (garments from Cambodia and Bangladesh, and sandstone from Rajasthan India). ETI Director Peter McAllister will then facilitate a discussion, providing delegates with an opportunity to ask questions and discuss key trends, issues and challenges.
