ETI and Partner Africa have been working to provide technical assistance support to African agricultural suppliers and their workers who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Together, we developed this response pack for farm or packhouse managers, and agri-business owners. To support the management of covid outbreaks, the response pack includes a range of checklists, tools and procedures, plus awareness-raising posters and videos.
Managers can select from the range of resources below, or download the entire pack. The core set of tools for managers is supplied in English, while the awareness-raising posters and videos are also available in Amharic, Shona and Swahili.

Background
The pack was developed by ETI and Partner Africa to provide technical assistance support to African agricultural suppliers and their workers who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was developed through the Vulnerable Supply Chains Facility (VSCF), a rapid COVID-19 response fund set up by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and managed by Mott MacDonald Ltd.
The Facility partners with 20 UK and international retailers and brands, and 7 not-for-profit organisations, supporting over 100 suppliers across Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Myanmar, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. It will provide economic, social, and health benefits to around 1 million women and men directly and indirectly.
Training webinar
A 50 min webinar, led by Response-Med covering a full range of Covid prevention measures and advice on managing outbreaks in farm and factory settings in Africa.
All participants should complete a short survey in order to attain their certificate of participation.
