ETI is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Baldwin, as a Non-Executive Director of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI). Ben is Chief Operations Officer at Beeswift, a leading manufacturer and wholesaler of personal protective equipment (PPE) and high-quality workwear. His three-year tenure began in January 2025.
ETI is the leading expert on human rights due diligence. For over 25 years it has worked to bring together companies, trade unions and non-governmental organisations to understand and tackle human rights issues in the workplace. As awareness of abuses in global supply chains continues to grow, and companies face new legislative requirements to address them, ETI’s role has never been more important. Ben Baldwin will provide independent and objective advice to the ETI Board, leveraging his expertise to enhance decision-making and ensure the organisation’s objectives align with the interests of all stakeholders.
Commenting on his appointment, Ben Baldwin said:
"I am delighted to join the ETI Board as a Non-Executive Director to help continue the good work the organisation does around the world, and in particular to protect workers in supply chains. As a supply chain professional, I have spent my career dealing with the manufacture and movement of products from all over the world. This allows me to help keep the high standards that we have all come to expect in supply chains to be either improved or maintained."
Beeswift’s commitment to ethical business practices and sustainable sourcing aligns closely with ETI’s vision. This appointment highlights the company’s dedication to advancing worker welfare and maintaining high standards across global supply chains.
